It is exciting to look at where we are right now. Seeing where we are heading is even more exciting. Those who preceded us and planted the church in this country hoisted the banner of holiness. Our challenge today is that we continue to uphold these three core values, Christian, Holiness and Missional. We pray that in the next 100 years, the mission of the church will continue to manifest the sprit of “The Great Commission”, to make Christlike Disciples in the Nations.
The Central Field has celebrated its first anniversary. We have claimed as our promise the word of God as given to us in Psalms 2: 7 and 8, “I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Here we find we are His children and in Christ we are part of his family. He has brought us into existence, he knows us intimately. He invites us to call on Him. What should we ask him? Let’s ask “that he gives as an inheritance, all the nations and to the uttermost parts of the earth”. Let us walk in faith and actions to claim the promise of our Heavenly Father. Living the “Great Commission” is the action of living in daily grace as we center ourselves in his perfect will. Pray that 100 years from now, people will look back at these times as a time of great harvest, advancement and growth.
The heart of South America, the Central Field, has celebrated 100 years. Now we want to advance to bigger challenges.
