(NCSA Ecuador) On August 10, 11 and 12, more than 350 young people from different cities of the Serra Centro District gathered in the coastal city of Salinas, Ecuador, to participate in the youth camp with the theme “A generation that does not stay silent” which aimed to challenge each young person to declare with his life and voice the truths of Jesus Christ, according to the NYI District president, Pastor Marcelo Fretes.
At the event the youth praised God, played, listened to very challenging lectures, did evangelist work in the city and pledged to return to their cities and be a generation that does not conform to the world, to be “a generation that is not silent”. The speakers were the Andean Area Strategy Coordinator, Rev. David González; National NYI Coordinator, Rev. David Navarrete; Rev. Dorian Tirado; Rev. Marcelo Fretes and Rev. Viviana Pérez.
The comments from the participants were very positive regarding the camp.
