(NCSA Ecuador) On June 23, 2018, the official launch of the Chamber Orchestra of the Church of the Nazarene was held in the city of Guaranda, Bolivar State, in partnership with the programs of Compassion International.

147 children and adolescents played a variety of musical instruments, enchanting the public with Andean rhythms, popular songs and praises to God. Approximately 2,000 people were present in the open air to listen to the orchestra and were surprised because the small musicians are children of scarce resources that through the learning of this ability, demonstrated that there are no boundaries, nor limits for personal growth and overcoming obstacles.
Also present was the international communicator Donizetti Barrios, who through his presentation made a call to hope and new life in Christ; the national singer, Victor Sao, was present. This great exhibition of musicians from all over the region of Bolivar, Riobamba and Santa Clara, raised the name and the compassionate work that the Church is doing in the Serra Centro District, in favor of children and their families.
