(NCSA Peru) February 7-10, 2019 more than 700 women participated in the National Women’s Conference III, in the Central District facilities in Chiclayo, in northern Peru.

There was representation from 13 Nazarene Districts, including some from places very far from Chiclayo, like those from Shipibas in the jungle of Peru. They travelled for five days to get to the event. The first night was a party, every district formed part of a parade of delegations, in which the ladies represented their region with traditional dress and signs.

The presenters included Nineye Diaz de Herrera (Colombia), Patricia Donnelly, (USA), Martha Periche y Yelka de Bernales (Peru). The topics presented were “Collaborators with the Kingdom,” fulfilling different roles give by God, not just in the family and church, but also being an influence in society.

The Lord used the presenters powerfully and the name of the Lord was glorified, as they spoke to the hearts of the participants.

Pastor Lourdes, National Women’s Ministry Coordinator, said, “God touched our lives incredibly through these servants of God.”

“For me it was an impact, and really edifying to hear motivational presentations and testimonies of healing, and challenges for pastors and to hear very clearly that God is the only hope for humanity,” said Flor Requejo, from the Cajamarca District.

Miss Nancy Soto from the South Central District agreed that it was a special time, “Many women were able to leave their homes. I saw them cry. I believe that God gave then the answer and council they need,” she concluded.

Pastor Marlene Palma, from the Liberty District in Chavín, said, “it was a special and blessed trip, and the Word and the testimonies of love and power of God bringing physical, spiritual, and emotional health.

Another highlight was the national final of the Biblical debate, and Bible speed contests. First place in Biblical debate was the Cajamarca District of Peru, and second place was held by the Peru Andean District. In the speed contest the winner was the Cajamarca Peru District, and second place was won by the North Pacific District

All of the participants were motivated to continue being better collaborators of the Kingdom and continue making Christ-like disciples of the nations and of course, anticipating the next conference.
