(NCSA Argentina) More than 400 young Argentine Nazarenes have already participated in the Maximum Mission! In recent months, the cities of Venado Tuerto and Laguna Blanca plus the provinces of Tucumán and Jujuy were the destination of these young people who are working to extend the Kingdom of God in our country. We celebrate the commitment of these young people to God’s Mission, as we head towards the 100th anniversary of the Church of the Nazarene in Argentina in 2019.
The last two projects of Maximum Mission occurred in the province of Jujuy and Tucumán, belonging to the NOA district of Argentina. More than 80 young people participated in the two projects in the district. To encourage the maintenance of public spaces and community meeting places, squares that were in a very bad condition were painted, in addition to providing health services, haircuts and clothing distribution. As we sum up the activities, more than 200 people participated, about 50 others participated in medical care and many gave their lives to the Lord. In addition, a group dedicated themselves to raising the walls of a new sanctuary, so that the church has a good place to meet.
Tucumán and Jujuy saw a Church committed to the community, which not only preached the word of God, but lived it. We thank the coordinators Gisela and Rebeca Flores Camacho for carrying out this program, the Superintendent Rev. Luis Juárez and our National NYI Coordinator Aylen Bauzá for their continued support.
