(NCSA Argentina) Between June 26 and 29, 2018, the workshop of librarians for South American institutions was held on the premises of the Nazarene Theological Seminary of the Southern Cone (STN CS) in the city of Pilar, Argentina, aiming to train themselves into a new library management program called OPALS.
Dr. Sharon Bull, emeritus director of the Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) library and Debbie Bradshaw, director of library services at NTS-Kansas City were the instructors. Present were representatives of the Nazarene Theological Seminary of Peru (SNTP), Bolivarian Nazarene Seminary (SENABOL) and the Nazarene Theological Seminary of the Southern Cone (STN CS). The implementation of this new program will allow better administration of the libraries of theological institutions in South America, which will facilitate the consultation of the collection of books through the Internet especially for the students of Decentralized Theological Education. The workshop was a time of inspiration, instruction, challenges and fellowship.
