(CNSAM Ecuador) The South American Nazarene Theological Seminary (STNS) in Quito, Ecuador hosted its Teaching and Ministerial Refresher Symposium September 18, 2017 in the buildings on its campus.

The event was organized by the teaching and administrative body of the seminary. They relied on the contribution of Dr. Jorge L. Julca, Regional Coordinator of Theological Education, as the main speaker. Those in attendance included district superintendents, ETED directors, and around 30 professors from the different areas of Theological Education in Ecuador.

This teaching refresher symposium emphasized the strengthening of a holistic theological education, and the innovative practice of preaching the gospel in postmodern times as a ministry of God. A training on the importance of life-long learning in the ministries of the Church of the Nazarene was also included.
